Daxton received some frog rain boots from a neighbor who's child had outgrown them. He loves to wear them and insisted on wearing them out of the house one sunny day.

Nursery Theme

Found a stool in the neighbors trash that I just knew could be repurposed. I love taking something discarded and making it a treasure again. First piece I've made so far for the baby's nursery. Going with a circus theme!

Orlando Magic Gala

Joe and I had great date night at the Orlando Magic Gala fundraising event this year. I even fit into my dress at 16 weeks pregnant. I got to meet the new coach of the basketball team along with an amazing violinist and the Orlando Mayor.

Applesauce

None of the applesauce made it in his mouth at lunch today, but he still really enjoyed it!

Coaching Hockey

Daddy was a guest celebrity coach at the Solar Bears charity hockey game. His team won with Daxton cheering them on. We also got to meet hockey legend Bryan Trottier.

Morning at Sea World

Daxton is getting to the age where he is interested in interacting with his surroundings. His favorite sea creature today was the sharks. Also a new word he learned this week. He also got to go on a lot of new rides. There was no lack of smiles and giggles.

Deep Sea Fishing

Grandpa Ashton and Joe spent a day at sea catching fish big and small. Joe was not able to keep the red snapper because it wasn't in season until a week later. He did bring home some shark, let it sit in milk overnight, and then fried it up. It was tasty. There was a bet on the ship to see who could catch the biggest fish but it had to be one you could keep and couldn't be a shark. Grandpa Ashton won the bet and pool of money off of the tiny fish.
